According to Football365, Premier League club West Ham are ready to battle with Serie A side AC Milan for the transfer of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Chelsea signed Bakayoko from Monaco for £40million in the summer of 2017 but the Frenchman struggled to impress in the Premier League.
The 25 year old midfielder has spent the last two seasons on loan – first at AC Milan and then at Monaco.
West Ham are reportedly keen to sign Bakayoko on a permanent basis in the summer after the midfielder impressed on loan at Monaco.
It is believed West Ham have an advantage over AC Milan because they can afford Bakayoko’s wages. AC Milan had reportedly asked Bakayoko to lower his salary request.
