Hakim Ziyech officially became a Chelsea player from July 1, since his signing was completed in February.

The Moroccan international has finally arrived London and has taken part in his first Chelsea training session.

Ajax coach Erik ten Hag has sent his final farewell message to Ziyech, as he appreciated the 27-year-old’s impact at Ajax.

“Together we had a very nice period, also a successful period”, head coach Erik ten Hag told Ajax’s official channel.

“He has given the team and the fans a lot. Not only in terms of results but also with attractive football.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has revealed he can’t wait to play alongside new signings Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

“I’m excited to work with them,” Pulisic told Sky Sports about Werner and Ziyech.

“It’s fun to play with good players, it’s easy to play with them and those are two guys we know that are really talented guys so I’m really looking forward to it.

“We can have a really strong team next season.”
