A point against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night could have ensured Chelsea’s qualification for the Champions League next.

The Blues will now go into the last game of the Premier League season in search of at least a point to seal their top four status, with a home game against Wolves on Sunday.

Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta has urged his teammates to take the next three games seriously, as the Blues will face Wolves and then Arsenal in the FA Cup final before facing Bayern Munich in the second leg Champions League round of 16 clash.

Azpilicueta said: “Let’s go to finish this season strongly. We have a massive game on Sunday against Wolverhampton, to get our target to qualify for the Champions League.

“We have the FA Cup final, we have the Champions League last 16 second leg, so let’s go step by step. Let’s focus on the next game on Sunday, and then we will see where we are next season.”
