Chelsea have been strongly linked with a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz.
Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has now admitted Havertz has an agreement with the German club to leave this summer if certain conditions are met.
“We have an agreement – if it fits, he can go this summer,” Voller told Bild.
“As of now, he is a player of ours. We have our ideas, we know what he can do. I personally hope that he stays one more year.
“Of course, you can’t force anyone. Havertz knows what he owes to his colleagues, the fans and the club.”
The 21 year old Germany international has provided 15 goals and eight assists this season and looks set to join Chelsea this summer.
