According to 90min, Chelsea have made enquiries to Inter Milan over the possibility of a summer transfer for Slovakian centre-back Milan Skriniar.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on strengthening Chelsea’s leaky defence this summer. Chelsea have conceded more goals than any other side in the Premier League top half this season, a poor record that has held back an otherwise promising young squad.
Chelsea reportedly see Skriniar as a better long-term investment than Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.
The report claims Inter Milan told Chelsea that the 25 year old defender will only leave the Italian club if an offer of £75 million is submitted.
Manchester United and Manchester City are also reportedly interested in the Inter Milan centre-back.
