Chelsea have made two signings in Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ahead of next season, and the signing of the duo have made Chelsea look an interesting team.

Christian Pulisic is making his mark on the team since the season’s restart and could be hailed as the best player in the team since the league resumed.

Chelsea legend Dennis Wise has revealed the Chelsea team he’d like to see next season, as he has gone for a back four that will include Chelsea target Ben Chilwell, and he’s also backing Reece James to be the club’s number one right-back in the near future.

Wise is also rooting for a midfield trio of Ross Barkley, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic. For a front three, he went for Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

“As you see I’m hoping that they sign a left-back, Chilwell, the Leicester boy,” Wise told Stadium Astro.

“That would be very nice if they got a left-back in because I think he’s got a lot of quality.

“There’s a lot of speculation about him and that would be really, really nice.”

“I’ve got Christensen and Rudiger at the back along with Reece James because I think what I’ve seen of him so far, Reece James, I think he’s been absolutely outstanding when he’s come into the team,” he added.

“Obviously Azpilicueta will be a year further on so Reece James will give it a good go and I would like to see him have a regular opportunity in the team.

“I’ve gone with [N’Golo] Kante, Barkley and [Mateo] Kovacic because I think the three of them have got a lot of quality, a lot of variation.

“Ziyech I’ve played on the right-hand side with Werner up front and [Christian] Pulisic on the left-hand side.

“A lot of pace, a lot of creativity and a lot of goals. You can have a chop and a change, you can have Werner on the right, you can play [Tammy] Abraham up front, you can have Ziyech in place of Barkley.

“They have a good mixture so it’s going to be interesting to see how and what team he creates next year, Frank.”
