Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement to sign a goalkeeper, putting Kepa Arrizabalaga’s future as Chelsea’s number one goalkeeper in huge doubt.
According to Turkish outlet Haber 365, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Trabzonspor to sign Ugurcan Cakir.
Technical advisor and Chelsea legend Petr Cech reportedly endorsed the Turkish goalkeeper and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard trusts his old teammate’s judgement due to Cech having spent 11 memorable years in front of goal for the Blues.
The report claims Chelsea have reached an agreement with Trabzonspor to sign Cakir for a fee of 29.5m, which will see Cakir become the Blues No.1 next season.
Kepa will reportedly leave Chelsea at the end of the season, with Spanish clubs Valencia and Sevilla interested in the Spanish goalkeeper.
