Chelsea’s signing of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen might not be official yet, as the Blues are yet to agree terms with the German side. However, reports claim that Chelsea have already agreed terms with Kai Havertz over a move to Stamford Bridge next season.
Former Manchester City star and Bayern Munich new signing Leroy Sane has seemed to have confirmed that the Blues have already signed Havertz and congratulated the Blues for signing German talents Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
Bayern appeared to have signed Sane for around £54.8m after the young winger struggled to break through in a star studded Manchester City side.
Speaking at his own unveiling, Sane said of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz: “I think Germany has always had very good young German players. I can’t answer why they’re looking at young players now.
“Many young players get their chance and develop well in the Bundesliga. I think that with Werner and Havertz, which are two Germans in one year, Chelsea did a good job.
“Germany has good youth work and the whole world knows that. That is of course attractive for the teams abroad.”
