Chelsea played out a 4-4 draw with Ajax back in the Champions League group stage game, as Chelsea came back from 4-1 to draw the game and almost got a winner late in the game, but Cesar Azpilicueta’a goal was ruled out for offside.

Ziyech was one of the stars for Ajax in that game, and although he didn’t get on the scoresheet, he was involved in three goals for the Dutch giants, earning him the man of the match in that occasion.

The Moroccan international ended up signing for Chelsea in February, and he has looked back at that game as a crazy one.

Ziyech told Chelsea TV in an interview: “It was a crazy game. If you were a neutral supporter it was a fantastic game.

“For us it was a little bit less because we were 4-1 up, but it was a crazy game. I think the neutral fans, that is why they like football, because of moments and games like this.”

Ziyech officially became a Chelsea player from July 1 and was present at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea defeated Norwich 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
