Kepa Arrizabalaga’s potential replacement buys home in London

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has lost patience with Kepa Arrizabalaga and is keen on signing a goalkeeper during the summer transfer window.

Some of the goalkeepers on Chelsea’s transfer shortlist include Dean Henderson of Manchester United, Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid, Alphonse Areola of Paris Saint-Germain and Andre Onana of Ajax.

Amid speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea this summer, PSG goalkeeper Alphonse Areola has bought a home in London.

Areola spent the season on loan at Real Madrid and made just eight appearances. The Spanish club aren’t interested in making his stay permanent and PSG are reportedly open to letting him leave.

The 27-year-old has further fuelled talks of a Chelsea transfer after his wife posted a picture of their new home in London together.

Marrion Areola wrote: “A few years ago our dream was to have our home in London.

“Our dream came true. Happiness blessed.”
