Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has come in for massive criticisms this season due to a number of errors he has made.
The Blues number one was signed under Maurizio Sarri, as the Blues had to pay a record £72m for his signature after selling Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.
Kepa’s price tag hasn’t been favourable to him and he has come in for criticisms time and again.
After the Liverpool game where he conceded five goals, the Spaniard was criticised especially for the goal conceded from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent, has revealed his dad says Kepa can’t save anything from distance.
Darren Bent told Football Insider: “Oh my goodness, this goalkeeper. The world’s most expensive goalkeeper and he can’t save anything, literally anything.
“It’s from distance, that’s what I don’t get – if they’re good finishes and they go in the corner, you can understand it. My dad, to be fair to him, has been saying this for a long time now: ‘He’s not good enough, doesn’t save anything.’
“I was always like: ‘Dad, I think you’re being a bit harsh here,’ but he was like: ‘Darren, I’m telling you, he cannot save anything,’ and obviously he’s proven me wrong.
“Anything that comes in from distance, it’s not like he gets a hand on it, he’s nowhere near it.”
