Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been urged to shun moves for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana and sign Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.

“There are a lot of keepers out there and it’s an important position,” Jamie O’Hara told talkSPORT.

“It’s very easy to look abroad, we talk about these foreign players who are great and then they come over and they struggle – Kepa has come over here and he’s really struggled.

“Look at home! We’ve got some brilliant keepers over here already playing in the Premier League, and I think Frank will do that.

“I think he’ll look at someone like Nick Pope and go, ‘I’d have him here in our team’.

“Pope at Burnley is a fantastic keeper. He’s proven at this level, he can play in the Premier League.”

  1. I think ONANA or POPE could become best signing for us (Chelsea) due to their age and piece. Oblak is about to reach 30 year. ONANA is a good goalkeeper.board of directors think about that because Oblak is too expensive. Please let us go for ONANA is willing to come to Chelsea and he is not too expensive than Oblak.

  2. Oblak is too expensive, let us used that amount to buy Onana
because he is willing to come to Chelsea, and we straighten the defective sectors. please, Board of directors look to this view
