Despite N’Golo Kante’s unavailability for Tuesday’s game against Crystal Palace, Jorginho failed to start against the Eagles with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard preferring Billy Gilmour.
Jorginho has struggled for game time since the restart of the Premier League and the 10 minutes of game time he got against Crystal Palace is his first appearance for the Blues since the restart.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has given a verdict on Jorginho’s Chelsea future following his lack of game time for the Blues.
Lampard revealed after Chelsea’s victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday that Jorginho still remains in his plan despite his lack of game time.
Speaking about Jorginho’s future, Lampard said: “It doesn’t mean anything for the future of Jorginho, Gilmour or anyone else in the team, or on the impact that Jorginho had on the team in calming the team down with his passes at the end. I know he can give us that and he will continue to give us that.”
