Chelsea received a blow below the belt away at Bramall Lane on Saturday evening as the Blues were beaten 3-0 by Sheffield United.

It was a very disappointing performance from Chelsea and Frank Lampard’s side were hit with a dose of reality.

Next up for Chelsea is a home game against Norwich City on Tuesday night, and Frank Lampard isn’t taking that game lightly.

Lampard doesn’t want to dwell on Chelsea’s good momentum that was there prior to the Sheffield defeat, and he also thinks Norwich are a good side who have just been unlucky with results. However, Lampard seems certain that Chelsea’s home form can be an added advantage to the team.

“If you don’t turn up or don’t perform it doesn’t matter what momentum you feel you have, but having good home form recently is good for confidence. We have to carry on from the Watford game in particular.

“We have to treat Norwich with utmost respect. They have quality players; a lot of games I have seen them this season they have been unfortunate not to get results. That’s the nature of the Premier League, but we are expecting a very tough game.”
