Despite playing good football, Chelsea have ended up on the receiving end against Manchester United three times this season.

Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has won all three games against Chelsea, as the Blues have conceded eight goals against United this season, scoring just once.

Blues boss Frank Lampard has now revealed that he won’t make the same tactical mistakes that saw United beat Chelsea thrice through their counterattacking style.

Lampard said: “They counter-attacked us at Old Trafford to great effect, pretty similar at the Bridge, so I won’t go short on those details, but what I won’t get caught up in is that we must have revenge because of that.

“We respect them as what they are: a very good team with very good individuals in very good form.’

Manchester United are good on the break, and if Lampard sets his side to avoid being counterattacked by United, then Chelsea have a good chance of winning this game.
