Olivier Giroud came to the rescue yet again for Chelsea, as his solitary goal provided the much needed three points against Norwich.

Giroud has now scored five goals in six starts for the Blues after scoring the only goal of the game as Chelsea beat Norwich City 1-0 on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.

His goal helped settle the nerves at Stamford Bridge as the Blues edge closer to a Champions League finish.

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker and former Leicester City and Tottenham striker, has claimed that Giroud is ‘underrated’.

Giroud hasn’t often gotten the recognition he deserves, but he has indeed proven to be an important player for Chelsea this season.

Lineker tweeted after the Norwich game: “I’ve always felt that @_OlivierGiroud_is underrated. Excellent all-round centre-forward’s game.

“Hold up play, movement in the box, finishing is all top class. Might lack a yard of pace of the greats, but doesn’t get the credit he deserves.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
