Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided injury update on defenders Luke Shaw and Bradon Williams ahead of our FA Cup semifinal clash against Manchester United.
Both players got injured in the draw against Southampton last week and weren’t available for the Crystal Palace game.
For the game against Crystal Palace, Solskjaer featured centre-back Timothy Fosu-Menash in the left-back spot.
The Norwegian has ruled Shaw out of the game as it will be impossible for him to recover in time for the game, while Williams will have to pass a late fitness test to see if he can start on Sunday.
Speaking before the FA Cup semi-finals against Chelsea, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke on his left-back situation and told reporters: “Luke [Shaw] will be out. I can’t see him recovering. Brandon [Williams] will hopefully be okay, he’ll try to join in training today with his eye.
“We’ll see if he can see the ball when he comes in! He should be fine.”
Willian features more on the right flank and will be the one to face United’s makeshift left-back. Willian has been in form this season and should have joy in this game.
Christian Pulisic sometimes drifts to the left and should have the opportunity to have yet another good game.
