Chelsea face Sheffield United away from home, and it’s a game Frank Lampard’s side must target all three points if they want to remain in third position.

The Blades are seventh in the Premier League and 9 points behind Chelsea in third, but Chelsea are considered favourites for this game.

Chris Wilder’s side has been a difficult side to face this season and recently defeated Tottenham 3-1.

Ex-Gunner Martin Keown has named Chelsea as the favourites for this game, but admits that Sheffield like to thrive in games such as this.

Keown believes Chelsea wingers will win one-on-one situations. However, he reckons that Sheffield United players have extraordinary ability to press high and track back at the same time.

In his column for the Daily Mail, the Arsenal legend writes: “In one vs one situations, I’d back Chelsea’s wide men. But the Blades are outstanding at doubling up on their opponents. Basham and O’Connell fly forward and George Baldock and Enda Stevens provide excellent cover.

“Midfielders Sander Berge and Ben Osborn sprint forward but they can dash back just as quick.

“Wilder’s side enjoy being the underdogs. They’ve proven that this season and will embrace the challenge of playing Chelsea on Saturday.”
