Hakim Ziyech trained with his Chelsea teammates for the first time on Thursday.
The 27-year-old was in the stands for Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Norwich on Tuesday and has now started group training but will be unable to play for the Blues this season.
Last season for Ajax, Ziyech scored eight goals and racked up 21 assists in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Ziyech spoke of his admiration for Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and Chelsea’s style of play earlier this week.
Ziyech said: “Lampard was important for my decision of course.
“I always said I like the style of playing football that he’s using now. it was for me a big decision to come to Chelsea.
“I would love to play the way I did in the last two-three years at Ajax, keeping the same style, hopefully they’ll [Chelsea fans] enjoy.”
