Player ratings: Chelsea 3 vs 1 Manchester United

Chelsea were rightful winners against Manchester United, as the Blues defeated Manchester United 3-1 to get to the finals of the FA Cup.

Caballero: Gave a good account of himself. Commanded his area well and passed out from the back with confidence. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Good captain’s performance. Solid in defence and gave in a hundred percent shift. 8/10

Rudiger: Was a rock in defence. Made some rash tackles and forced Maguire to blunder. 7/10

Zouma: Seemed very suited to a back three. His ball distribution was better and he protected his goalkeeper. 8/10

Reece James: Good display both attacking and defending. Protected his right flank and bombarded the attack when needed. Tested De Gea with one good shot. 8/10

Alonso: Looked very comfortable in the left wing-back role. Played a good ball into the middle for the third goal. 7/10

Jorginho: Added more intensity to his game, pressed very well and moved the ball quicker. 8/10

Kovacic: One of the best performers on the pitch tonight. Dominated the midfield, silenced Bruno Fernandes and was fluid on the ball. His best performance since the restart. 9/10

Willian: Played a huge part in the second goal. Worked hard off the ball and had a better second half. 7/10

Mount: Will be pleased to get back on the scoresheet. His pressing was superb, scored a good goal, worked hard and had a great game. 9/10

Giroud: Dominated Harry Maguire and his hold-up play as well was nice. A clever finish for the opening goal. 9/10


Tammy Abraham: Worked hard after coming late on for Olivier Giroud.

Hudson-Odoi: Late sub for Willian and unnecessarily tripped Martial in the box.

Loftus-Cheek: Late sub for Kovacic.

Pedro: Late sub for Mason Mount.
