Following the 3-0 defeat at Sheffield United on Saturday, Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has sent a message to Chelsea fans.
Rudiger tweeted: “Such a bad day for all of us. This is not our expectation.
“But it doesn’t help us to be frustrated for too long now. We can’t finish the season positively by staying negative.
“Let’s push each other now for the final games. Let’s do this together as a team.”
Meanwhile, Tammy Abraham has revealed Frank Lampard’s dressing room reaction to the defeat against Sheffield United.
“He let us know how he was feeling after the game,” admitted Abraham.
“We got into the changing room and we already knew ourselves so there wasn’t much for him to say.
“We didn’t start the game sharp but you have to give credit to Sheffield United for how they disrupted the way we wanted to play. They scored an early goal which frustrated us and we didn’t react.”
