Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he’s pleased with the scores from Sunday’s Premier League game between Tottenham and Leicester City, as Spurs defeated the Foxes 3-0 to make the run-in to the last day of the season easier for both Chelsea and Manchester United.
It’s not yet over in the race for top four, but Solskjaer believes his side will scale through.
“It’s between us, Chelsea and Leicester for them two last positions,” Solskjaer said after United were beaten by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final.
“The more help we get from others the better, of course. But if we do our job on Wednesday we will be in a good position before we go into the Leicester game.
“We hope that last game, if we win that one, we can qualify. We’ve just got to regroup, go again on Wednesday against West Ham.”
