Manchester United could have risen above Chelsea and Leicester by beating Southampton on Monday night but Michael Obafemi’s last-minute strike took them level on points with Leicester instead.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists his team will fight to the end to finish in the top four, starting with a win against Crystal Palace on Thursday.

“That’s football,” Solskjaer said. “There are key moments in every game of football.

“We’ll take it and move on to Thursday and go down to Selhurst Park.”
