Chelsea paid the price for some shambolic defending as we lost 3-0 at Sheffield United on Saturday.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard hinted he will ring some big changes after admitting he had learnt a lot from Chelsea’s spineless performance against Sheffield United.
According to Football London, five Chelsea players have their future at the club in doubt following their dismal performance against Sheffield United.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho could all be sold this summer after their dismal performance against Sheffield United.
Speaking after the defeat to Sheffield United, Lampard said: “Disappointing. Mistakes.
“I’ve got to be careful overanalysing this one because it’s what you do: you analyse all season, review, look forward.
“What we have to do now is put that game to bed because the only thing that matters now is that we fight for top four and we’re still in that race because of how we’ve been this season.
“But I learned a lot and I won’t forget that.”
