Bundesliga club open talks with Chelsea for Conor Gallagher

According to reports in Germany, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher could spend next season on loan in Germany.

German media outlet Kicker claims Arminia Bielefeld, who won promotion to the Bundesliga this season, are in talks to sign Gallagher on loan from Chelsea.

Gallagher spent the just concluded season on loan at loan at Charlton and Swansea City.

Crystal Palace, Newcastle and West Ham United are also interested in signing the youngster on loan ahead of the new season.

Speaking about his future following the end of his loan spell at Swansea City, he said: “I am not thinking about [the future] now. I had a great second half of the season with Swansea and I have enjoyed it so much.

“I am very thankful to the whole club and fans, I am not thinking about next season at the moment.

“I don’t know what’s happening with me. I have loved it here.

“I really enjoy working with him and he was a big part of the reason I came to Swansea and I am glad I did come.

“It is a great club and why not [come back]. It is a great club that I really enjoyed but I don’t know what’s happening next season.”

  1. i think this youngster should be sent on loan but not to permanently leave the club because he`s got great talent that could be vital for the club`s performance.
