According to Spanish media outlet AS, the Blues are leading the race to sign Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon.
Despite his impressive season on loan at Sevilla, which saw him named best left-back in La Liga, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane doesn’t see the 23 year old in his plans for next season and is happy to sell the left-back.
The report claims Real Madrid value the left-back at around £22.5 million, which would be considerably less than the £80million that Leicester City reportedly want for Ben Chilwell.
Napoli are also interested in signing the Real Madrid left-back but he is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Reguilon recently claimed he had no idea where he will play his football next season.
“I don’t even know where I’m going to play next season,” he said.
“I have no idea, I have to assess all the options that we have on the table.”
