Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on overhauling his attacking options this summer and the Blues have now been linked with a move for a Brazilian winger.
According to reports in Spain, Chelsea have made contact with Real Madrid for the transfer of Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior.
AS Diario claim Chelsea have approached the LaLiga champions about a potential switch and initial contact was made over Vinicius as early as November.
The 20 year old Brazilian has fallen out of favour in big games for boss Zinedine Zidane. He played no part in Real Madrid’s Champions League last-16 second-leg away to Manchester City and it is believed he might push for an exit this summer.
Vicinius is blessed with pace and is an excellent dribbler but must improve his goalscoring ability if he must replace Eden Hazard at Chelsea.
Arsenal and French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Brazilian who joined Real Madrid from Brazilian side Flamengo in 2018, is under contract in the Spanish capital until June 2025.
