Following the arrival of Ben Chilwell at Chelsea, reports claim Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri has been told he can leave the club this summer.
The Italian international is a key transfer target for Italian giants Inter Milan, with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte keen on reuniting with the left-back.
According to The Sun, Chelsea have told Emerson Palmieri that he will be allowed to leave the club if an offer of £26 million is received by the club.
Chelsea signed Emerson from Roma in January 2018 for £17.5m ($23m), with a further £8million ($10m) due in add-ons, and are looking to make a small profit.
Meanwhile, former Blues midfielder Craig Burley believes Chilwell will be a top addition to Lampard’s side and has the scope to become a top player.
“He didn’t have a good second of the season after injuries, the first half was pretty good,” Burley told ESPN FC.
“The real Ben Chilwell is a potential top drawer left-back, he is everything that you need, the pace, the great left foot and the engine that you need to get up and down.”
