Chelsea have reportedly agreed a fee of £85 million for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, according to reports.
The Byline podcast host said to Jan Age Fjortoft via The Sun: “People know I speak to contacts and hear things.
“So if I was to tell you Chelsea have agreed an £85m fee to sign Kai Havertz, £60m up front and it is now about how it’s structured, would that be realistic?”

Former Frankfurt striker and Bundesliga expert Fjortoft replied: “I think so. I’m 100% sure they will find a way.”
Meanwhile, Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller previously revealed Havertz could leave this summer, but only if certain conditions are met.
Voller told Kicker this week: “No decision has been made yet. I’d like to repeat myself by emphasizing that we’re talking about a wonderful footballer.
“There is nothing new in this regard. We have a clear and mutual agreement with him and his representatives that he can only leave under certain conditions. Otherwise he will stay.”
