Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has a number of injury worries ahead of Saturday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
The Blues have a 3-0 deficit to overturn, after losing to Bayern Munich in the first leg at Stamford Bridge.
Reports claim that Lampard is planning to take three youngsters with him to Germany, with Goal reporting that Lewis Bate, Dynel Simeu and Ian Maatsen have been told to get ready for a trip to Germany.
Maatsen has played just once under Lampard this season, making his debut from the bench in Chelsea’s 7-1 Carabao Cup win over Grimsby Town back in September last year.
Also, Chelsea youngsters Armando Broja and Henry Lawrence could possibly travel as well, as they were added to the club’s B-list this week.
Broja impressed as a late substitute in Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Everton just before the lockdown.
Christian Pulisic, Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro all suffered injuries in the FA Cup final against Arsenal, while Willian is battling to be fit as well as N’Golo Kante.
