Ben Chilwell missed the final few games of Leicester’s campaign with a heel injury which led to to the Foxes missing suffering in the last few games of the season.
Chilwell was a key player for Brendan Rodgers’ side, but missed the final weeks of last season’s restart due to a heel injury.
With the start of the new Premier League campaign just over two weeks away, Chilwell has offered an update on his recovery from injury and reveals that he is doing well ahead of the season.
“I’m feeling really good,” said the new Chelsea defender.
“The injury is healing really well and I’ve been doing a lot of fitness work over the past four or five weeks.”
Chilwell is now the third signing for Chelsea following the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
Chelsea are expected to confirm the signings of Thiago Silva and Kai Havertz in the coming days.
