Bayer Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz has admitted Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz is set to leave the German club.
The 21 year old German international has already agreed a five year deal with the Blues and is reportedly not training with the German club ahead of his transfer to Chelsea.
It is believed the Blues will announce the signing of the Bayer Leverkusen star this week.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Bosz admitted that he isn’t expecting Havertz to play for Leverkusen again.
Bosz said: “Unfortunately our squad isn’t set yet. I no longer expect Kevin Volland and Kai Havertz to train with us again.
“It’s possible that other players will be on the move as well. In any case, we have to bring in some players, too.”
