According to The Sun, Premier League side Everton are eyeing a surprise move for Chelsea central defender Fikayo Tomori.

The 22 year old defender made his Chelsea debut last season and featured regularly for the Blues in the first half of the season but struggled for game time in the second half of the season.

With Brazilian defender Thiago Silva agreeing a two year contract to join Chelsea, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly open to letting Tomori leave the club on loan this summer.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti reportedly believes Tomori would be a solid addition to an Everton backline which at times struggled last season.

French club Rennes are also interested in signing Tomori on loan this summer.
