Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer after losing faith in Kepa Arrizabalaga, who only joined the Blues in the summer of 2018 for a world record fee.
Several goalkeepers including Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak has been linked a summer transfer to Chelsea as a replacement for Kepa, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
According to The Times via Tribal Football, Chelsea boss Lampard has identified Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel as an ideal replacement for Kepa.
The Blues are the latest big club to show an interest in Leicester City star, with Manchester United also interested in the goalkeeper.
The goalkeeper is reportedly willing to leave this summer as he chases Champions League football.
