Chelsea legend John Terry was disappointed with the performance of referee Anthony Talyor during the Blues’ FA Cup final defeat against Arsenal.
According to Terry, the referee was wrong to send Mateo Kovacic off as it was never a second yellow card and he also insists Hector Bellerin should have been penalised for a foul on Andreas Christensen in the build-up to Arsenal’s second goal.
Terry reacted on Instagram, saying: “Never a second yellow, and surely that was a foul in the build up to the second goal.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was disappointed with his players for their performance against Arsenal.
He said: “We started well for 10-15 minutes and we can only blame ourselves form that point.
“We got complacent, we took time on the ball like it was a stroll and we allowed them into the game. It’s hard to get back into the game then. A lot of today is on us.
“All I can do form the sidelines is shout! There are elements in our game that we have worked hard on all year but that is in you as a group.
“Today we were slow, we played back on ourselves, invited pressure. We didn’t play well enough to win a final.”
Ghasley Taylor, Just knew fa. Plot.
Taylor you will be punished
one day
I believe that Chelsea boss Frank lampard will do well next summer. please let support him.
Bring Jon Terry as assistant to help give the defenders a system to defend. Chelsea have good individual defenders but they can’t defend as a team
Bring John Terry as assistant to help on defending strategies. Chelsea have good individual defenders but they can’t defend as a team
The referees seems came with a made up mind… Chelsea MUST lose at any cost… including Taylor losing his integrity… very very shameful… Christensen fouled by Bellerini before the second goal , the goalkeeper holds the ball outside the box , Kovacic is fouled and ends getting a second yellow card resulting to a red card…a disgrace to referees
