According to Daily Express, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has given Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia the green light to sell Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri, with Inter Milan leading the chase for the defender.

Emerson started the season as first choice but is now behind Marcos Alonso in pecking order. Wity Lampard keen on signing a new left-back this summer, Emerson is expected to fall down the pecking order even further.

The report claims Inter Milan are set to lodge a bid for the Italian international in the coming days.

The sale of Emerson to Inter Milan is expected to help fund a move for Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell, who is Lampard’s first choice transfer target for the left-back position.
