Hakim Ziyech was forced off in the second half of his Chelsea debut on Saturday afternoon in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Brighton.
Ziyech hurt his knee in the early stages of the second period at the Amex Stadium and was replaced in the 54th minute of the contest by Conor Gallagher.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard provided an update on Ziyech’s injury.
As per Chelsea’s official website: “After the game Lampard described it as a little twist to the knee that will be looked at.”
Ziyech impressed on his Chelsea debut against Brighton as the Moroccan international was instrumental in creating the Blues’ goal against the Seagulls with the 27-year-old’s cross leading to Timo Werner scoring in the fourth minute.
