Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on signing a new goalkeeper this summer and AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is one of the names on Chelsea’s transfer shortlist.
Reports last week claimed the Blues are in talks to sign the 21 year old AC Milan goalkeeper, with some reports even claiming Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has been offered in a swap deal for Donnarumma.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are not in talks with AC Milan over a potential deal for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Romano made the revelation when asked by a fan about Chelsea’s interest in signing the 21 year old AC Milan goalkeeper.
Donnarumma has just one year left on his AC Milan contract and he is reportedly valued at around £50million by the Italian club.
Donnarumma has five years of experience in the Milan first team after making his first team debut aged 16. The 21-year-old has 16 caps for Italy and more than 200 appearances at club level.
