Lyon have a number of top players in their ranks, and the club’s sporting director Juninho, has opened up to the fact that they may have to sell a number of their key players this summer.

Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar, has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal all having been linked with the 22-year-old at one time or another.

The club’s sporting director, Juninho, has now admitted that Aouar is available for sale, as well as other important players.

He told RMC Sport: “Houssem Aouar? When you have great players in the squad, it is quite logical that other bigger teams with greater economic power come to seek the players.

“There is a risk of losing important players. If we lose important players, I have already spoken with the president, we will have the right to balance the workforce.”

Aouar has had an awesome season, having scored nine goals and provided seven assists so far and played a key role to help Lyon knock Juventus out of the Champions League in his last appearance.

Do you think Chelsea should raid the French giants?

However, Chelsea seem well covered in the midfield position, and the only midfield star the Blues happen to be keen on is Kai Havertz.
