Manchester United fans are jealous of Chelsea’s transfer activity after growing frustrated over their club’s lack of activity in the transfer market.
Chelsea have made a strong start to the transfer window by signing Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, with the Blues closing in on Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz.
Meanwhile, Manchester United missed out on teenage prodigy Jude Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund and have also been unable to sign top targets Jadon Sancho or Jack Grealish, as of yet.
Reacting to Chelsea’s transfer activity and Manchester United’s lack of signings, United fans said:
“Not gonna lie. Slightly jealous of the Chelsea recruitment system. It seems that they actually WANT to create a league winning team where we’re are clearly inept compared to them. Either we’re happy being idle in 3rd place or they don’t want to back Ole – which is a worry! #MUFC,” a Manchester United fan admitted.
“Chelsea had a decent season and aren’t hanging about building for next season. We had a better than expected season and hoping for the best for next season. Club is being run by amateurs #MUFC #GlazersOut #WoodwardOut,” another Manchester United fan said.
“#Chelsea: Werner and Ziyech are a done deal. Silva, Chilwell, Havertz & that keeper from Lille might be next. Chelsea’s actually making an effort to catch Liverpool and City… And here we are, happy with our squad… we have no depth at all… It’s getting embarrassing! #MUFC,” a third fan tweeted.
“Chelsea’s transfer business so far gives opponents a clear message for next season. The hierarchy at our club is nothing less than pathetic. Can’t see us signing anyone for next season. 😡 #MUFC,” a fourth Manchester United fan tweeted.
