Manchester United have joined Chelsea in the race for £50 million Brighton defender Ben White, according to The Sun.
The 22 year old defender is also wanted by Leeds United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City after an excellent season on loan at Leeds United.
Leeds United have already had two bids rejected for the defender, as they attempt to re-sign White but this time on a permanent basis.
Brighton do not want to sell, and it would take an offer in excess of £50m to even tempt them to consider doing a deal even though White is yet to make a Premier League appearance.
Brighton boss Graham Potter views the 22 year old defender as a vital part of his long-term plans.
