Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been named as a FIFA 21 Next ambassador, as the Blues academy product has been recognised as one of the Premier League’s up-and-coming stars.
The FIFA Next contains a list of newly emerging talents from across the world of football.
Mount has had a wonderful debut season in the Premier League, and with 52 appearances to his name, the 21-year-old couldn’t have prayed for a better season. In short, it is a Chelsea record for an Academy graduate to make up to such number of appearances in their debut campaign.
Mount’s rating of 79 in FIFA isn’t a true representation of his current talent, and his rating will surely increase in FIFA 21, which is released on 9 October.
Kylian Mbappe will be FIFA 21’s cover star, and Erling Haaland, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joao Felix are new FIFA Ambassadors also.
