Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has received a special advise regarding the much anticipated Chelsea signing, Kai Havertz.

Kai Havertz is expected to be a Chelsea player in no distant time, and the qualities of the 21-year-old has been raved about in the Premier League.

There have been questions whether he’d impress in the Premier League, but Tayfyn Korkut, a former Bayer Leverkusen manager – who managed a 17-year-old Havertz in the 2017/18 campaign – has hailed the player’s ability.

According to Tayfyn, Havertz is the full package and Lampard may not need to add anything to his game.

“The most important thing now is for him to play for a bigger club than Leverkusen but he is already fantastically prepared,” Korkut told Sky Sports.

“He has played in the Champions League. He was the top player in the Bundesliga. He is ready to play for any team in the world. Improve? What can you improve? Sometimes it is best to leave players like they are.

“I don’t want to say he is the perfect player because I do not know if the perfect player exists, but he has all the tools to be a big player for the next three or four years. Very big. The boy is special.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.

  1. Chelsea will strive to be in the top four unless they get a central defender
