It is believed that Kai Havertz is keen on a move to Chelsea, and has already agreed personal terms with the Blues.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is also keen to see this deal happen, but one thing that that’s keeping the deal at the moment is the transfer fee.
Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen are yet to agree terms over the right price for Havertz, and Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller, has recently admitted that there’s nothing new in updates regarding a move, and also warned that Chelsea know what to do to sign him, otherwise he’d remain with Leverkusen for another season.
“No decision has been made yet,” Leverkusen chief Voller told German publication Kicker when discussing Havertz’s future.
‘I’d like to repeat myself by emphasising that we’re talking about a wonderful footballer.
“There is nothing new in this regard. We have a clear and mutual agreement with him and his representatives that he can only leave if certain requirements are met. Otherwise he will stay.”
Meanwhile, Matt Law, has claimed that Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia is taking her time to complete a deal for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz because there’s no competition for the midfielder.
Matt Law believes that Marina will try as much as possible to get a good bargain for this deal.
