Chelsea’s second leg round of 16 Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, is one that not too many Chelsea fans are keen to see.
The Blues have already been written off after a 3-0 defeat in the first leg, and with Bayern Munich in form, coupled with Chelsea’s injury crisis, the worst is even expected.
Bayern had an explosive end to the season, winning all their games following the restart.
Bayern have won their first seven Champions League games this season, scoring 27 goals and conceding just five. Meanwhile, Chelsea have not won a single away Champions League match in the knockout stages since March 2012, with 4 draws and 3 defeats.
Lampard has revealed that Christian Pulisic, Cesar Azpilicueta, Willian and Pedro are unavailable for this game through injury, while Marcos Alonso and Jorginho are suspended.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be pondering whether to continue the 3-4-3 system or go with the 4-3-3.
We definitely need goals for this game, and the 4-3-3 formation represents our best attacking formation.
Defence: Reece James, Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Emerson Palmieri
Midfield: N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Ross Barkley.
Attack: Mason Mount, Olivier Giroud and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
