Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic suffered a hamstring injury in the FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Pulisic was having a good game and even scored the opening goal of the game before limping out shortly after the restart.
Fans had feared that the American star will be out for a long time, but the 21-year-old winger has revealed on socal media that he’d be back soon.
“Gave it everything we had,” wrote Pulisic.
“Wasn’t our day.. thank you guys for your support I’ll be back in no time 🙏🏽’”
Chelsea lost Pulisic, Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro in that game, and when asked how bad the injuries to Azpilicueta, Pulisic and Pedro are, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard said after the game: “I don’t even know, I am afraid.
“I know that they are hamstring injuries with Christian and Azpi they have to be scanned and assessed over the next few days and they clearly won’t be fit for next week. Pedro, I believe, could be a dislocated shoulder but don’t go too soon on that because I am not sure.
“I have not seen him as he was whisked away so it is really a disappointing end for him because it was probably his last game for Chelsea.
