Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen to back current boss Frank Lampard in the transfer market this summer, despite the Blues having already signed Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
The left-back and goalkeeper position are two areas Lampard is keen on strengthening, and a report by The Mirror claims that the Chelsea boss could turn his attention towards Ajax duo Andre Onana and Nicolas Tagliafico as the best alternatives, to the more expensive Jan Oblak and Ben Chilwell.

The Mirror report that Onana would cost at least £70M less than Oblak.
Meanwhile, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has hailed the two signings Chelsea have made so far, but Rio insists that the main areas to be strengthened for Chelsea are the central defence and the goalkeeping area.
Ferdinand told BT Sport: “I think Frank’s done his work early, that’s good business [signing Werner and Ziyech].
“The players he’s brought in are players that can play and know the level at Champions League football. I think they’re an upgrade on some of the players he’s got.
“Definitely adds competition, but I think now he has to look at the other end of the pitch because that’s an area that when you want to win things, big trophies, which Frank will be wanting to do.
“That’s the demands of that club, the foundations in the centre-half area, goalkeeper have to be strong.”

Though Oblak can be very costly, but in my best opinion, he’s more preferable and more experienced to and than Onana and Ben. As far as the goal keeping arena is concerned, it is the experience Chelsea as a club would ever go for. IF CHELSEA DON’T MIND THE PRICE, GO FOR THE EXPERIENCED OBLAK…
And for the Left back, what do the board and the director think about David Alaba of Bayern Munich? In my opinion, he’s equally the best and the most experienced left back Chelsea should go for for now…
