The Champions League represents the biggest pool of revenue for club football, and it’s no wonder why every club fights hard to play in the Champions League every season.

Football business experts Swiss Ramble have produced a breakdown of how much clubs have made from this season’s competition so far.

Chelsea are among the top 10 highest earners, and the Blues have even pulled in more revenue than Liverpool, despite Chelsea’s shambolic Champions League exit following a 7-1 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich.

Chelsea had the highest UEFA coefficient out of any English team participating in the Champions League this season.

Chelsea will be expected to perform better next season, and it was a hard battle to finish in the top four spot and earn a place in next season’s Champions League.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
