Chelsea star Willian is edging closer to leaving the club after rejecting Chelsea’s latest offer of a two year deal.

Willian has reportedly held talks with London rivals Arsenal over a potential move this summer.

Kia Joorabchian, Willian’s agent, claimed last week that the Brazilian had offers from five clubs – two in the Premier League, two in Europe and one in Major League Soccer. Barcelona and MLS side Inter Miami are reportedly among the interested clubs.

According to the Mirror, Willian has told close friends that he’s turned down a pay rise to move to Florida because he’s keen to play at the top, and would rather play for Arsenal.

Willian has had to turn down a lucrative offer from David Beckham’s Inter Miami all because he wants to remain in London.

Arsenal have reportedly offered Willian the three year deal he wants, because his preference is to remain in London.

ESPN Brasil claims that Willian’s deal will be confirmed in the coming days.
