Italian club Roma are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard open to letting the midfielder leave the club.
Jorginho is no longer a first choice player in his position, and he may also want to leave for more playing time.
According to The Guardian, Roma’s hopes of signing Jorginho this summer is fading as the Italian club are failing in their attempts to raise enough funds for the transfer.
Serie A champions Juventus were interested in a move for Jorginho but the signing of Arthur from Barcelona and the sacking of Maurizio Sarri means the Italian club are no longer interested in Jorginho.
It appears the 28-year-old Italian international may have to accept another year of limited opportunities at Chelsea.
